When I bought this theme, inside it with Visual Composer 4.11.x it is currently updated on the web with Visual Composer 4.12 Is your theme compatible with the new version 5? He’s giving up a lot of trouble now.

Does the VC license with virtuoso until update number arrives? For version 5 requires a payment. Is it so?

ReplyDeleteWe bought extended licence, so you don’t have to buy anything. Just update theme and you will be able to update VC from the dashboard. After theme update, you need to delete current VC and install new one.

ReplyDeleteYou just need to update your theme to the latest version we released 1.7, then update Visual Composer to 5.0.1 we included in it, and clear cache, and everything will be fine again.
1. Theme update

2. VC update
a. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps
b. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it
c. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard
d. Install the plugin and then activate it
3. Clear browser cache

Hello,
ReplyDeleteThis error means that your php version is low, and that’s why this is happening.
Use at least PHP 5.4.x or greater in order to process PHP code faster, and to fix older version bugs. Note that wordpress is now recommending PHP 7 or greater https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ So, just contact your host and ask them to increase your php version to 5.4.x or higher.

Thanks that fixes the issue. I didn’t know wordpress is regarding php 7 now. Also how do I make my logo LARGER ???? I uploaded my logo but it’s so small. I want it to be displayed in it’s original size. Any tips would be great Thanks!

ReplyDeleteThe original photo you upload for your logo should be twice bigger than the one you want to be displayed on site, because of retina rule.
So, for example, if you want your logo displayed as 200×100 px, you should upload original photo as 400×200px.
And in Elated Options -> Header, you set the header height initially and on scroll if you use sticky header type, note that logo can’t be displayed bigger than that height you set there so it will be restricted in height by the Header Height you have set.

We missed our hosting and need to config a new site because we do not have a backup of our site : (
Please can you help us with this issue? When we try to connect with Instagram in BO it does not work. After authentication, the Instagram site return an error:

Am I the only person needing an updated version of this template to work with the latest woocommerce update?! This is causing major issues with my Event calendar ticket system….basically I can’t update any of those pluggins because the site crashes down because of this template…I did open a ticket months ago about this to make you guys aware of the problem and you said you would work on it. I never heard back…my client is loosing faith in me now and getting frustrated, I cannot get any support from my other plugins developer until I update them to see if that fixes the problem. ReplyDeleteWe apologize for the delay regarding theme update to cover mentioned compatibility, but theme update that would cover WooCommerce 3.0 compatibility was prepared and it was about to be released when new WooCommerce 3.1 was released and new Visual Composer, so we had to postpone it until we cover that compatibility too. Once again sorry for the delay, we are giving our best to release theme update soon.

Any updates on when the new version of the theme will be released? I’m working with the portfolio gallery layout which uses images with different dimensions, and it looks like a mess when your click the “See More” link. The only way to fix it currently is to increase the number of items before the “See More” link displays. But that slows down the page load and I currently have it set to 75 items. I’d prefer to set it to 9 and let the “See More” load on demand and display the images nicely. But with images with different dimensions (because the artist has paintings which are different in size), the layout looks awful.
