What does the documentation cover? If I get lost? What then?
It covers how to populate the template and use the provide features. Step by step! In case you get lost along the way, we will gladly aid you out and explain what needs to be done.
I’ve tested this on an emulator. It doesn’t work as it should.
Emulators use your machines power to simulate HTML, CSS and JS. Meaning, certain elements may fail as compared to running the actual device. When we say it works on a certain operating system it means we tested it on multiple devices not emulators. Emulators are known to fail.
Do I have to learn new code beside the classic HTML, CSS and JS to use this?
Not at all. We use the simplest possible code to the latest standards using the classic syntax’s you all know how to use. You won’t see any complicated mind-blowing class names in our products.
Is this item a WordPress Theme?
No. This item as the title says is a Site Template. To use it in WordPress you must convert it to a theme.
Is this item a PhoneGap / Cordova / Mobile ready built app?
No. This item as the title says is a Site Template. To use it as an App you must first convert it using PhoneGap or Cordova. The item is fully compatible with PhoneGap and Cordova as long as the Operating System Requirements (OS Requirements) above are met as PhoneGap and Cordova are compatible with any HTML, CSS and JS item on the planet as per their official website frequently asked questions sections.
Do I need an extended license to build an app?
If the application you will build will be uploaded to any application store as a paid application or an application that has in-app paid features, then yes, you must purchase an extended license as per Envato Terms of Service. Not doing so will result in a DMCA to the application store where your app is located.
I accidentally purchased thinking it’s an App or WP Theme. Can I get a refund?
We do not provide refunds for these sorts of mistaken purchases. This FAQ section was built specifically to answer those questions in order to avoid mistaken purchases. Template can only have a search input design added ( so you can click it, type the text, but no results will come back ) because templates are not connected to any database. If however, you wish to convert it to a theme or add it to a CMS and you require a search box designed to suit the design of the template, if it doesn’t have a million animations and doesn’t require 30 days of work, we’ll add that for you for free! Just remember, templates only have a designed search, functionality is back end added. As per default, all our items being templates, none come with a search element implemented. ReplyDeleteNo worries, about the reply! As for the documentation, we cannot provide a copy of it, it’s found in the product download files. But we can tell you what you’ll get. How to customize the template, the structure explained, and how to customize most features of the item. What is not included is how to convert the item to anyother purpose except that of which is sold, meaning, a site template! Converting to anyother CMS is entirely up to the customer. In case you have issues with our documentation however, we’ll gladly provide hands on support! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHi there, I just bought this and this is super awesome! However I am kind of running into a design problem. There are times I am in a page, and I need to simulate a ‘back’ button or somehow to navigationally go back for ios devices. Do you have an UI elements you would recommend for this?
ReplyDeleteHey there, and thank you for your purchase! We’re extremely happy you love our product! As for your request, this is a difficult one, since the “back” button is connected to a database that registers each page you visit, so the browsers knows where to go back to, this feature is available for AJAX templates, but sadly, ours does not have an AJAX navigation since these are usually buggy on mobiles. There’s only so much we can do to simulate / create an environment that works as an app, and this feature is not one we can do. We’ll gladly help you with anything that’s in our powers and in our item capabilities that’s supported by mobile and tablet devices! Cheers, and please don’t forget to rate 5 stars! ReplyDeleteThanks! I think what I’m going to do is change the navigation where the title becomes a defacto breadcrumb. What I did was replace your logo with text. so ‘company name’ would become ‘events’. Also how do i leave ratings?
