Hi,
ReplyDeleteVery nice theme and so many page customization options. But getting too late to loading, do you have any optimization option in theme control panel?
I did manually by zip compression and CSS file merging using magento admin setting. But when I merge JavaScript file it got some problems like slider not working in home page and feature product not display properly.
How can I merge and minify the theme Js files?

ReplyDeletePlease go to admin > venustheme > ves template panel > theme control panel > edit theme setting item default > click on tab “Compression” then select option “Merge and compress js/css”.
Or you can enable compress js, css files option in system > configuration > developer or setup a extensions: GTSpeed, Apptrian Minify Html,...

ReplyDeleteYou just need to disable there options. To flush cache, go to cache management in system admin and go to ves template panel > click on link “Clean Css/Js cache” on top right panel

HI, couldn’t find the JS and media folder in theme folder after downloading. We can see only app and skin folder now. Please assist soonest.

ReplyDeleteIm sorry for late response. The theme included 2 folders app and skin. For js and media folders they were stored in other core extensions of theme (ves tempcp, ves base, ves blockbuilder, ...) you should setup all extensions in modules.zip for your site. The sample media folder you can get in quickstart package of the theme.

ReplyDeleteIn the theme you can use inline translation tool of magento to translate static text. Or add text in translate.csv file in the locale folder in the theme. For dynamic text you can translate for each store views in backend.
Can we use this theme on an existing 1.9.2.4 shop? Or does it work only on a fresh installation? I like the above the fold from variation Homepage 4 and below the fold variation from variation Homepage 2. Is this combination possible?

1, What you mean categories name are wrong? Can you send me detail of problem, or explain me by us screenshots.
2, I see the problem with the file in your site app/code/community/Ves/Tabs/Model/System/Config/Source/ListCms.php .Maybe it have problem with syntax or charset encoding in file content, you should delete the file on your site, then rename the file “ListCms.php” on local to “ListCms.php.local” then upload to the same path on your hosting, after then rename the file back to “ListCms.php”

We used the css file: http://demo4coder.com/magento1/golmart/skin/frontend/ves_golmart/default/css/custom_tabs.css to define there icon class (icon1 to icon8) and add background image for it.
For exmaple:

background: url("../images/icon1.png") scroll center center no-repeat;
}

However, for now our module just show categories tabs click on category tab item to show products carousel. hello, great template, we will use in our website soon, for now we have a test website and we want to use a captcha, we are using “contacts-form-captcha” and the page 2 of contact pages from the template
ReplyDeletethe problem is the captcha do not show in the contact page 2, if you try to send a message via contact page 2, the template show as error message about need use the captcha and redirect to another contact page, with different style, this show the captcha and you can send the message normal.

The contact page 2 we built it by pages builder. The contact form are calling the file “app/design/frontend/ves_golmart/default/template/contacts/form_nolocation.phtml”. You can integrate the recaptcha code.
Or you should edit the widget contact form in pagesbuilder profile, then add custom template of widget to the phtml file of the contact form with recaptcha.
On ves base: category tabs , how can i order products by relevance?

ReplyDeleteDo you mean order products by “position”? For now the sort order just work on category page, it should load category before load product collection of the category. However The module categories tabs we are loading all products by categories with source type (latest, bestseller, popular, ...) we should be custom some code in the file ”/app/code/community/Ves/Tabs/Block/List.php”
Find the code:

ReplyDeleteIt seem it is package of old version of the theme. Please try to check the download file version again, and try to download it to your pc. We just updated the main package on yesterday.
But which folder we getting after download have no such file you can download folder and check. I getting after download folder name is themeforest-12182196-ves-golmart-magento-responsive-theme.zip After unzip this we getting these folders guides.zip, licensing.zip, modules.zip, PSD.zip, themes.zip, ves_goalmart_quicstart.zip And after unzip themes folder we getting folder name ves_goalmart_theme_1.9.1.0 which have two folder app and skin
