We stand behind our products and offer one-on-one, email based support.
For

We offer support for our customers Mon-Fri 8:00am – 6:00 pm (GMT +2). We usually respond to support requests within 48 hours on weekdays. Support request sent during weekends/holidays will be processed on Monday/the next business day.
Item Update Policy
We know that you need a theme that you can rely on to work in the future as well. After all, what good is a beautiful theme that is not actively updated by the author? I personally wouldn’t put my money and time into creating a website with a theme that might not work when the next version of WordPress roll out.
That is why the Executive theme gets free updates to ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress version, free critical security patches and bundled plugins updates. We have been updating the theme constantly since it was released in July 2015 and we do not intend to stop any time soon!
Item refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for our themes, except when you find a real bug which we are unwilling to fix. Our themes function exactly as we advertise them, so no refunds are given for reasons such as mistake purchasing or customization problems.

Only thing that I ask you is to please send one last email with the login info again and all remaining problems as a itemized list ( older ones sent and possible newer ones) so we can have them centralized ( i have at least 10 emails from you and i don’t know what is still a problem and what not) and we will try to provide answers in 48 hours tops as well as provide recommendations if the need arises.
It’s been about a week now and I haven’t heard from you. I do have to make a presentation tomorrow and I sure would like to have these issues settled in time for me to send to my client. Please do what you can. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteThe theme doesn’t need update, the visual composer and demo content do. We are looking into it. the whole situation sucks because people will have to redo their website and nobody likes that.

ReplyDeleteWhat we recommend is sticking to WordPress 4.5.x for the time being. It is still getting patched and is safe to use. If you updated to WP 4.6 please do a rollback. As long as you use the latest version of the theme (check the changelog on item description page) + the customized VC plugin ( used by default, the theme prompts you to install on activation) + wordpress 4.5 everything will work as intended.
ReplyDeleteWe are working on updating the theme so that it works with the latest stock version of Visual Composer (4.12.x) and is WordPress 4.6+ compatible moving forward. Version 2.0.0 of the theme is out and it brings proper WP 4.6 support along with an update to the newest version of Visual Composer. Updating is not optional if you want to use it along with WordPress 4.6!

Yes, you helped me with the custom code for Visual Composer which I appreciated, but when I said that VC was not working with the theme when WordPress was updated to 4.6, you did not reply, and now you made it available too late. I had to make changes on my client’s website and I had to purchase Visual Composer for $35.00 and install it in order to do so since you were unresponsive. Money I shouldn’t have had to spend.

Bobcatz55 sorry we couldn’t do it sooner. it took us a long time to figure out how to update the themes in such a way that people with existing websites shouldn’t need to rebuilt their content.

Does this theme support updating via the Envato Market plugin?
ReplyDeleteAs far as i know, all themes should support updates through the marketplace plugin, it is not something you need to add in the theme. Or am I missing something?
ReplyDeleteI’m not a theme developer, so I’m not sure, but when I try to update this theme I get an error “Install package not available”, so maybe it’s not something that you add to the theme code, but making a certain download link available on a specific location? I’d hope Envato has some developers documentation for that?

ReplyDeleteI’m managing over a hundred sites for clients via MainWP Dashboard. These clients have their own licenses for themes and plugins, so it’s only possible for me to keep them updated when the updates can be installed via WordPress directly. In that case MainWP can also install these updates.
I understand. Themes sold on themeforest do not have a mandatory way of providing updates.
