It seems the sidebar blocks are made in visual composer, however visual composer is not set to appear on the sidebar blocks custom post type. How can I edit them? Thank you.

ReplyDeletePlease login to your Wordpress Dashboard to Visual Composer > Role Manager, and change Post types to custom and then check the ct_sidebar_block like in this example This will fix the problem you are having right now.

I am having connections time out every time I try to upload the theme I have tried different browsers and different internet sources, as well as contacted my server host. Is there an issue with the theme file?

ReplyDeletePlease make sure that you are uploading only the charlottetheme.zip file instead of charlotte_all.zip. If that won’t help it means that probably there is some size upload limit on your server. There is a simple workaround for this – just upload the theme via ftp server. Unzip the theme package and copy folder charlottetheme into your wp-content/themes folder.
After that you can activate the theme via admin panel, as always.
In case of any additional problems with that – don’t hesitate to contact our support forum, so we could help you.

I uploaded the demo contend and I am getting an error at the top of the second main menu of the homepage. This is the error:

I am not sure what the demo content includes, but there is no other content on the home page. Did I do it right?

Also, can you clarify how to make the widgets appear under the left side menu on the home page? On a previous demo I saw, you had like hours and location under the menu. I want to recreate that but I can’t seem to link whichever sidebar widget correctly to allow that to show up. THanks

ReplyDeletePlease make sure that you’ve installed and activated the Visual Composer plugin – [vc_single_image] is one of Visual Composer shortcodes.
Widgets can be edited via Appearance > Widgets. Sidebar that you are looking for is a Main Navigation Sidebar, screenshot: here.

Do I have to attach that sidebar to the menu somehow? Becasue right now I have widgets in that sidebar but they are not showing up at the location. Thanks!
