I just purchased 6 month of extended support for the Capri Theme. I have been having a friend help me design my website but I would really like to figure it out on my own so I don’t have to rely on him any more. If I have lots of questions about how to customize things on this theme is this where I go to ask the questions or is there another place I need to go? I bouht the capri theme and added the demo mango to my domain. I cannot figure out how to getthe term mango off of my website nor how to change the header photo.

I bought this theme before and have used it earlier, i now try to install it to a domain, but run in to problems. Whenever i try to add or edit a page i get:

The Page You Are Looking For Does Not Exist. It May Have Been Moved, Or Removed Altogether. Perhaps You Can Return Back To The Site’s Homepage And See If You Can Find What You Are Looking For.
Seems to be a issue with latest Wordpress and Visual composer that is added with theme. As i inactivate it i can edit pages with WPs editor, but that is not an option. I tried updating permalinks with no success. I do not have extended support on this theme currently, but hopefully someone can confirm is theme is broken or it is just me having this problem.

I just purchased Capri, but I think I’ve made a mistake. I had assumed that the visual design option would be available and instead I am seeing just code. I can’t edit this at all. Am I doing something wrong and just can’t see it or do I need to request a refund?

ReplyDeleteVisual Composer is included with the theme. There is no need for you to purchase it. You just need to install all the theme’s required plugins (you will see a notice on the top of your dashboard that certain plugins need to be installed. Just install and activate them all and you will receive Visual Composer).

You just need to install all the theme’s required plugins. However, since we bought an extended license for Visual Composer, we can’t give you the purchase code of this plugin because of policy and terms of Theme Forest. We update the plugin through theme updates, and you will get the latest version of this plugin with future theme update.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, this is how portfolio filter is working. It is actually filtering items that are already loaded. So if you set some number for portfolio items to be initially shown and you have more than that, before clicking on the Show More button you will see on under each Portfolio category, only portfolio items that are already been visible.
If you want you could set up Order Number under Attributes box for each Portfolio Item https://www.screencast.com/t/5l1JPnv83h and than to set Order By option to be Menu Order under Portfolio List settings https://www.screencast.com/t/2oSDwrff6D
Or you could just set -1 for number field and all portfolio items will be loaded https://www.screencast.com/t/jBu6iYK6bR

I only need to have the buttons “show more” and “read more” in french..
If Loco translate isn’t working, you can search for these words inside core plugin and theme, and to hard code different values. “show more” is inside core plugin:

ReplyDeleteIssue is plugin territory because each social network now needs their own tags in order to be able to share everything from your page and that is why plugin which is adding og tags is required, you can test other plugins, and then test page link trough Facebook debugging tool https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

When is the theme going to be updated? I asked a few months ago and we have an commence site so it is pertinent we stay up to date with WooCommerce. Current Capri Version is only at 2.6.14 and most up to date version of WooCommerce is now 3.0.8. and not to mention Visual Composer has had multiple updates since this theme’s last update. Please advise, thanks

ReplyDeleteSorry for the delay with update. WooCommerce 3.x compatibility requires a lot of changes and we are in final stage now since most of our themes were updated already.
