ReplyDeleteThere is no need to update if you do not use the new gallery. The original works well, we just implemented some small features.

ReplyDeleteI’ve been looking at the theme for someone who bought it and I have to say it’s very poorly documented. ‘Documentation’ that tells you what the files are called and tells you who wrote the js are absolutely no help whatsoever to people who buy the theme and want to do things like change the map of the place where they plan to marry (the output in your maps is different than that obtained from google maps, with no labels) or change the day and time of the ceremony. There isn’t a single word of advice that is of genuine use to someone using this theme.
ReplyDeleteAdvice on how to deal with the menu (it basically needs redesigning if you dont want 6 one-word title headings because it breaks at tablet size) would be dead handy too.
It might be a nice theme but if you think buyers should need to email you in order to get basic info like that, you might find the answer as to why your sales are so low.
Oh, and if you allow that people might want to change things more than names and addresses, minifying even the css is exceptionally unhelpful.

1- CSS is not minifyed, it is fully organized and documented, in addition also have included the LESS files for easy editing.
2- The documentation is essential when dealing with an html template. In addition we provide premium support to all our customers (the main reason we have 5 stars, the maximum score in our reviews), But we will see where we can improve it.
3- We do not think that sales are low, but in a satisfactory number. We prefer to focus on customer satisfaction rather than a large number of sales. 99% of our customers are very happy with the product.

ReplyDeletePerhaps you misundersood me. I actually have the files on my pc, and I know what a minified file looks like. Aside from the html all your files are minified, which is a real pain in the backside.
Secondly, I know documentation is important, and helpful sometimes. That’s why I said yours is hopeless. It contains absolutely nothing of help at all. Not one single word on maps, times, dates, or even simple things like how to adjust the header nav. Nothing.
The reason I needed to look at the files is that the buyer couldn’t use the files. He sent you an email asking for help, using the email address written here, but to date you haven’t replied.
10 buyers who ‘voted’ 5 stars on a themeforest product isn’t 99% of people being happy with your product or customer service – it’s 10 people.
Never mind. I was only making an observation.

ReplyDeleteFor CSS you must open in a code editor, as sublime text. It seems to be minifyed if you open on Notepad, but it’s not.
We released an update today correcting some points that you told us and improving documentation. Thanks for the feedback.

I’m thinking about buying it however as i look at on a iPhone 6, the picture is not bound….the pic is actually size and is not responsive….. any suggestions….

ReplyDeleteI cannot get the rsvp form to send me an email. I get a sent message on the page but right underneath that, I get a “sending your message” message as well. The form never submits. I changed the line on the contact-form.php to my email address. Is there anything else? I also uncommented line 55 with my smtp server and line 59 with another port number and that did not work either.
