Hello there, I have a pre-sale question: Have you tested your theme with BuddyPress/bbpress?
ReplyDeleteWe know bbpress and BuddyPress are compatible but we did not test it thoroughly and we also didn’t style it properly for pinpress. So your able to run these plugins but you have to optimize the stylings yourself.
ReplyDeleteI really liked tokoto’s idea to have a public url that allows users to share a list of pins. Have you developed it after all?

ReplyDeleteUhm yeah, true – but the problem I have is in the main theme as well. How can I activate the top menu colors? I set the colors in the categories, but the top menu is all black…
ReplyDeletehey please goto live panel(customizer) -> design section. Open stylings tab. Then goto head area -> top bar stylings.. from there you can change link color to your needs
ReplyDeleteOk I think I found it, I looked into top bar color settings, but I tried for an hour now and non of the changes I made achieve that it looks like your demo. I want the category colors to pop up when you hover over them. And before hovering I want that thin colored line to be visible, and a white font. Just like your demo. The hover effect does work well for the social media logos, but not for the top category menu. Most of the time nothing changes at all when I enter different colors e.g. white for text remains grey (sorry for posting here, but I couldn’t figure out how to open a ticket in your support area). Maybe there’s a button in a different section I need to activate so that the category colors appear in the top bar?

ReplyDeleteHello, I submitted my data as you suggested. I forgot to ask that you please also check why the reading progress is not (or only sometimes) saved to the pinboard. I don’t understand why it works with some posts and it doesn’t with others…?

I´d like to take off the “category” expression of the top category pages. Ex. Category : Law …I´d like to take off the expression category from the law category. How can I do that ? Is it possible ?

ReplyDeleteHi. I’m designing my homepage using the “Double right sidebars” layout with Home sidebar small and Home sidebar wide (as in the demo page). When I try to use two Post Alternate widgets side by side in the main column they appear one above the other, even when both are placed in the same row. How can i fix this? ReplyDelete1. I’ve tried ut the demo version and a lot of sites under “Features” and in particular blog post layouts lead to a 404 page. Can I have a look a t a working version, lease?
2. Also, it seems that I can only pin an article from the homepage, no pin is available in category or in a post (though it does say “share or save for later” it only offers social share buttons).
3. Where can ads be included?
4. I saw, last year people asked if a public url to share “my pins” will be available, wanted to know how far you’ve progressed?
5. How foes the “pin thing” work? Is it a cookie? How do I explain it to the users? 6. What happens if I pin something on my iPhone – can I see it from my desktop (I guess not, but worth asking)
7. Could you please point me to a login that would allow to pin and save articles for registered users (you mentioned it in one of your replies)

hey mate to answer your questions –
ReplyDelete1. Thanks for notifying that , I am currently out when I am back I will fix those.
2. When you scroll down on a single post, you can pin it from left side scroll bar
3. You can add ads on head , in sidebar / footer using widgets.
4. Pin system uses html5 storage system to store saved user pins. So a user can save pins on a browser for unlimited length of time
5. Regarding the public url system for saved pins, we havnt made any start on it since demand wasnt there
6. The pinning system is browser dependent and pins are saved for particular browser
7. Currently it is not possible mate.
