Hi. Please where can I translate VIEW LARGER which is appearing when I hover image thumbnail ? Thank you
ReplyDeleteUse the included .po file to translate anything in the theme you need.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSERvAnpr40
Cheers
Thanks but ‘view larger’ phrase is not in mentioned .PO file, thats why I asked where to find it
ReplyDeleteHaha, oh yeah, sorry about that, looks like we have a theme option missing. If you’re happy to edit a theme file, you need /admin/theme_filters.php line 227, otherwise, let me know
ReplyDeleteCheers
Hi! Great theme, I am now customizing it for myself, as well as translating to Polish.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I change texts like: “From my portfolio” on home page, “Me, elsewhere” on social links page and similar? I looked into the .po file, but there are no similar texts.
Bartek
Hey there,
ReplyDeleteSee the theme options in “appearance => customise” for these.
Cheers
I realize I just ran out of support, but just got around to using this theme. Can’t access support area and can’t see paying again for this with only one time of really asking a question. If I have to, I’ll do so though.
ReplyDeleteI just have an issue with importing slider. Tried every which angle and just get the same error over and over.
importing slider setings and data…
no custom animations found, if slider uses custom animations, the provided export may be broken…
dynamic styles imported!
Error: Wrong export slider file format! This could be caused because the ZipArchive extension is not enabled.
Hey there,
ReplyDeleteThat error means the “ZipArchive” extension on your server is turned off, you need to contact your webhost to see if they will turn that on for you.
Cheers
Thank you so much for the quick reply (and the great theme of course). You nailed it. I manage my own dedicated server and it turns out there is an issue in EA4 with PHP 7 and ZipArchive. I haven’t found a solution except rolling the site back to PHP 5.6.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work and thank you again!
Hi! I have a question about Blog style component – I change blog type to Classic, but it still remains Grid. Moreover after adding another test site and adding blog component (classic), it does not appear to look correctly. You can see results here: http://swiadkowski.pl/blog/ and http://swiadkowski.pl/test2/
ReplyDeleteWaiting for your reply,
Bartosz
Hey there,
ReplyDelete1. Ensure the blog page you want to be the blog page is selected as the “posts page” in “settings => reading”
2. To change the settings of this page, go to “appearance => customise => blog settings”
Cheers
Hi, thank you for reply.
ReplyDeleteCurrently the blog page in “Reading” is set to blog, so that is correct.
Blog settings are also set to “classic” and nothing changes, it still looks like “grid”. What else can I do?
Another issue is that logo doesn’t appear on mobiles. My current resolution of logo is 184×44 px. What can cause this problem?
Hey there,
ReplyDeletePlease leave a ticket with your site URL and a login so we can take a look at both points, we’ll be happy to take a look:

ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteFor all support please use a ticket and provide screenshots specific of the issue, I’m looking at your site but not seeing any issues of note in the footer.

Hi. I have website using this theme and am using scrollspy in the homepage. However, the home icon isn’t active until you scroll a little. How can I make it so it’s active the moment the page loads? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteFor all support, please use a ticket and provide a site URL we can view: https://tommusrhodus.ticksy.com

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI would like to have my toggle collapsed. How can I do that?
Thanks.
Hey there,
ReplyDeleteSorry, the theme doesn’t have an option for that, you’ll need to use the native visual composer accordion block rather than our Lumos specific block.
Cheers
Thank you.
ReplyDeleteis there a way to remove the blog link from the main menu?
ReplyDeleteHi there
ReplyDeleteYou can control the menu by heading to Appearance > Menus in your WP admin
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
actually i can’t, blog link from the demo content (elsewhere link with heart icon) doesnt show up at the apperance > menus section (the other links that i put are there)
ReplyDeleteHi there
ReplyDeleteAh ok, the blog link (in the demo) is a regular menu items which you control as I mentioned above as you see here https://i.gyazo.com/9335eeb74b83c6f3a3901b7e5f00d3fb.png
The Elsewhere link however is different) as it is of course the social icons area, not the blog, so you can hide this by placing the following CSS in your custom css area in the theme options
.navbar li a.fancybox-inline {
display: none !important;
}
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
it works! thank you for your support!, best regards.
ReplyDeleteHi there! I have a couple of questions:
ReplyDeleteI’d like to have my portfolio content pop up in a fullscreen gallery like on the demos. How do I go about doing that? Right now it’s opening in a new tab on a new page with the gallery included on it.
Also, how do I add custom icons for the menu?
Hi there
ReplyDeleteFor theme support, please head to our dedicated support area and create a ticket https://tommusrhodus.ticksy.com/ (be sure to provide a URL when doing so also)
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
hello, how can I edit the written me, elsewhere on the fancybox opened by clicking the icon in the shape of heart? thank you
ReplyDeleteHi there
ReplyDeleteYou can edit this via the theme options, simply head to Appearance > Customize > Blog Texts and edit as you wish https://i.gyazo.com/aac894ec0b3e87febcff424c009daf5a.png
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
Ok thanks.
ReplyDeleteNow another problem, on mobile smartphone home3 (VIDEO BACKGROUND)
the video can not see.
Also on your demo http://tommusdemos.wpengine.com/demo-selector/?theme=Lumos
Hi there
ReplyDeleteThe reason both your site and the demo don’t show the video, is that it is disabled at a device level – so a fallback image is shown instead. This is by design as the devices don’t support autoplay videos and it would look terrible if it was just blank on mobiles etc of course
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
It means so that the video does not work on smartphones? but it is terrible even have a completely black homepage
ReplyDeletethere is not even the logo
ReplyDeleteHi there
ReplyDeleteAs I said, and as you can see in the demo – this is simply how the theme/revolution slider work. You will need to set a fallback image in your slider settings of course, to avoid a blank display
For further support, please head to our dedicated support area https://tommusrhodus.ticksy.com/
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
Hello, thank you for this impressive theme i just wonder how can i insert my custom icons to menu instead of current icons
ReplyDeleteHi there
ReplyDelete1. Go to “appearance => menus”.
2. Click on “screen options” (top right) and make sure the “description” checkbox is ticked.
3. Click the small triangle on your menu item to open it out.
4. Add your icon code to the description area, please see icons codes here: http://keepsake.wpengine.com/ebor-font-icons/ In the table in the page, see the codes, and the plain text written in each, e.g:
icon-inbox-1
For a list of icons please see http://frost.wpengine.com/budicon/
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
Thank you For your instant reply, but what i’m asking about is to use my created PNG/SVG icons
ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteThat’s not possible and would require theme customisation to replace the icons with your own.
Cheers – Tom
Hi, i am trying to installing the plugins, but i am getting error like -
ReplyDeleteAn error occurred while installing Ebor Framework: Download failed. No working transports found.
An error occurred while installing Contact Form 7: Download failed. No working transports found.

Dear Sir, i just wonder how can i add smooth scroll button in the content page, Thank you
ReplyDeleteanother thing please, Parallax background in VC composer doesn’t appear
ReplyDeleteHi there
ReplyDeleteAdding the class ‘smooth’ to your link should work, or you can use a plugin such as https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/jquery-smooth-scroll/
The theme doesn’t support VC’s parallax bg I’m afraid (which is why there is no example in the demo) however iv made a note of this to see if its possible to look into this again for a future update.
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
Hello! A couple of questions before buying your theme:
ReplyDelete- is it compatible with wordpress version 4.7.4?
- can I install a test demo on my site before buying it? If so, where do i download the demo file?
Waiting for your answer, thank you.
Hey there,
ReplyDeleteYes our themes are always compatible with the latest WP versions.
No there’s no demo version.
Cheers – Tom

Hello!
ReplyDeleteI’m having difficulty installing the Revolution Slider. When I click install, I get this error: “Plugin not activated. A higher version of Revolution Slider is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.” The version I have that came with the template is 1.0.
Please advise.
Thanks!
Hi there
ReplyDeletePlease head to our dedicated support are and create a ticket and ill be happy to help https://tommusrhodus.ticksy.com/
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
Trying to create a ticket, but I don’t know where to find the Envato purchase code
ReplyDeleteHi, I bought your theme some time ago and am finally using it. I’m trying to install the bundled plugins, and RevSlider and Visual Composer are giving me errors and won’t install. Errors look like this:
ReplyDeleteDownload failed. cURL error 28: connect() timed out!
Plugin not activated. A higher version of Revolution Slider is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.
I tried to leave a proper support ticket, but it seems my support is expired. I don’t think I should have to pay to renew support for this kind of bug just because it took me awhile to use your theme, so can you please help? I’d really appreciate it, sir.
Hi there
ReplyDeleteNo problem, drop an email to me via distinctivethemes AT outlook.com and ill be happy to send the plugins over.
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
Danny, can you tell me what file to edit if I want to add captions to the Lumos lightbox gallery type? Not related to Visual Composer, just the gallery you can select in the normal WP backend. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi there
ReplyDeleteTo disable Lumos’s gallery and use WPs default, you will need to remove the function ‘ebor_post_gallery’ from admin/theme_filters.php
For further help with theme customisation, you can contact our customisation partners here: http://www.tommusrhodus.com/contact/
Thanks, Danny (TommusRhodus Support)
Thanks. I should be able to customize the file myself, just couldn’t find it.
ReplyDeleteOne last thing – I’m getting a bug with the theme’s portfolio, even in your theme demo, in Safari on Mac about 70% of the time. Screenshot here:
