Hello! Excellent theme, thank you. One question… Is it possible to have the main navigation listed inline at the very top of the site? Instead of having the fullscreen modal-nav pop up after clicking “MENU” on the sidebar?

  2. Hi there,

As you can see in the demos, Sunday has only one menu design wich is the fullscreen pop-up.

    Best regards,

    Tanita

  3. Hello,

I have been using this theme for a while, and I have noticed yesterday that in mobile version the footer is preventing you from entering the password in client area.
when you click on a password protected gallery, the footer hide the password text box.
what should I do to fix this please?

  4. Hi there,

Please go to http://help.themevillage.net/ and submit a new support topic so that we can add it to the “fix list” and chat with you a bit more about this issue

  5. I have a question before I buy this lovely theme. Will I be able to use all of the functions in all 3 demos? I like the overall look in your Golden Demo but I need some of the functions in the other demos. Can I mix and match and is it all in your documentation or will I need to know some coding or your help?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi there,

    Glad you like the theme!

Yes, you will be able to mix and match since all 3 demos are mode from the same theme!

If you need help figuring out how to activate something specific check out the documentation here – docs.themevillage.net/sunday/ and visit our support forum here – http://help.themevillage.net/

  9. Hi there,

Before buying this theme I was just wondering whether it’s possible to customise the number of columns the masonry gallery images are displayed in for different display widths? e.g. on a standard laptop screen I’ll want there to be 3/4 columns instead of 5.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Also is it possible to have no filters in the top menu of a gallery if there is only 1 category of image? Thanks again

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hi there,
You can disable the filters if you don’t want them.
The column count isn’t customizable because it’s responsive. Column count depends on how wide the screen is.

  12. Thanks for getting back to me. Is it not possible for me to change the parameters for how many columns there for different screen width ranges somewhere in a script? I’m comfortable with changing scripts but I just need to know whether you’ll be able to point me to the right place if I purchase the theme?

    ReplyDelete
  13. You’ll have to do that with CSS and media queries. You also might need to edit a few files to change the image sizes in there ( right now they’re resized to a specific width, and the media queries are set-up around those specific sizes, if you change the CSS, you might need to adjust some code too ). Sure – I can point you in the right direction, but you’ll be doing the legwork

  16. Hi there, I have a couple of questions pre-order:
1/ is it possible to place the menu button top right?
2/ How playing around d with decode is necessary to include vimeo/youtube in the home gallery?
3/ The most important for the end: Is the game gallery lazy loading?

    Cheers

    ReplyDelete
  17. sorry fro the spelling, i typed too fast

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hello,
    1) Sorry – not at the moment. 2) With some effort it is possible, but it will require a bit of theme customization. You won’t be able to use the current pop-up gallery for that, though – it doesn’t support video. 3) I don’t know what is game gallery, – but in general – nothing is lazy-loading in this theme except the pop-up gallery ( it lazy-loads full-resolution images only when they’re needed )

  19. Thanks for the quite answer…

I bought Bluebird theme and wanted to know if you felt that Sunday was better for galleries with lots of photos to showcase as it presents thumbnails of smaller size and it doesn't impede so much on the weight and speed of the page.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Bluebird is a lot better with handling a lot of images in galleries.
    Norris

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ok… I’ll start playing with bluebird… If of any interest, I was able to convert all js and css into one file each i.e. one css and one js and got stunning result on gtmetrix albeit the page was only including few images

  26. Hello,

Could you please add a feature so the client can add a picture to cart when he/she is in his/her client area?

  28. you can integrate the pages of the theme gallery viewing images on a dropbox directory?

happen to know a method to view photos gallery of taking them directly from a Dropbox folder?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hi there – you have to upload the images and create portfolio entries via the WP Dashboard.

There are plugins that can help you with Dropbox integration, but I haven’t tested any of them, so I can tell if that’s what you’re looking for exactly. For example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/dropbox-photo-sideloader/screenshots/

  30. Hello! Is it possible to have portfolio pages (http://sunday.themevillage.net/portfolio/coffee-shop/) as blog posts? I need to make a site just for galleries like these: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg15x/ So I would like to use this theme blog using the portfolio style as blog post. Did I make myself clear? Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hi there,
If you want blog to have the layout of a portfolio – you will have to hire someone to create a child theme for you.

  32. Thanks for the response

  33. Hi, I perused the live demo. I am wondering if the theme allows for the galleries in the client area (password protected) to have single entry portfolios instead of the proofing layout? or otherwise, it is possible to add the password protection to a single entry portfolio?

    Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hi there,

The Client Area has only one layout – the proofing one and since portfolio galleries are “open” (there is no featured image to click on, all images appear in the portfolio), password protection doesn’t really work in such a layout. Sorry :/

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hello,
I’d like to ask if the theme can handle video embeds from Vime and YouTube as well? I do not see any mention of it in the theme specifications!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hi there,
Whrre exactly do you want to embed videos?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I’d like to do so on specific pages of the website, most probably on the homepage and 1 other page that I will create. Is this possible?

    ReplyDelete
  38. You can add videos in pages and posts. The only place that doesn’t support video (at the moment) is the portfolio gallery.

  41. I would love to see what the titles look like on a gallery. What about adding pics from a gallery to the cart?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Adding images from portfolio directly to cart isn’t possible, sorry. If by titles you mean captions for each photo – the portfolio is a bit different concept compared to our other themes. The idea is to display multiple portfolios in a rhythm – title, description, gallery.

  43. Dear host,

I’m running a WooCommerce webshop on one of your servers and WooCommerce has recommended PHP version of 5.6. WordPress, the CMS that WooCommerce uses, has also listed this version as the recommended PHP version on their requirements page: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

Can you please let me know if my hosting supports PHP 5.6 or higher and how I can upgrade?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hey there – I think you need to send that to your hosting provider via email or their support system. Envato ( Themeforest ) is only selling the theme ( the design ), you need to contact the company you’re paying to host your domain ( your-site.com ).
