Impala is a modern flat-gradient, super flexible, fully responsive WordPress Theme for Magazine and Blog!

Open letter (February 2017): We’ve rebuilt this theme from 2015 to saved him from no-sale syndrome, what we did wasn’t that great… we we’re trying to follow the trend of multipurpose theme and made it a theme with too much options and bugs. WE FIX THAT with Version 2.0.0 focusing only on Magazine and Blog… we hope this version will be better. Feedback are more than welcome, and we’ll be more much present to fix those dirty bugs. :)

Overview

  • Colorful, vibrant and flat design for Magazine & blog.

  • Drap and drop page builder with Visual Composer.

  • Versatile layout – 1170px, 1024px, 900px, fullwidth.

  1. My site is displaying only the site name as a header with no other content on a white page.

I have: reinstalled theme, deactivated all plugins (even askismet) and the issue persists.

I have put up a ‘coming soon’ plugin to not embarrass my client / self while I figure this out. I will send login securely if you let me know how.

  2. Sorry about that 9 months later! We’ve let our customer down with this theme, and are trying to make it up by making a new version 2.0 focus on magazine and blog. We’ve fixed lots of bugs, and the theme should be less painful to take in hands. We hope you’ll be able to try it if you need a magazine theme one day, you feedback will be more than welcome!

  3. Hello, I’ve attempted to receive support via the comments of the Impala WP theme and submitting via your website. I have a site that has had issues for 3 days now and my support with this item is about to expire.

I hope someone may contact me soon.

Thank you for your time & attention.

  4. Awesome – expired support after attempting to contact for a week. Theme is great, but support? Echo? Echo echo echo…

  5. Really sorry about that. I know it can be frustrating… truth is we’ve lost our motivation about this theme. We are trying to revive it from the dead right now with version 2.0.0 and we would love to have you feedback on it. Look at it like a new template focus only on Magazine and blog. The new version is right now in the review queue and will be soon available. Again, sorry about our lack of support, we’ll try to make it up to you.

  6. Hi, I have just updated my wordpress and visual composer stopped working in backend and frontend … I am not sure, if it stopped working because of the update, or because of the visual composer plugin which has a new release and cant be updated because it is a third party plugin .. Thank you for help

  7. heyyy, there is nobody to respond? I have submitted a ticket two weeks before my support license has expired but no response … help needed !!!!

  8. I’m really sorry about the lack of support. We left this theme out (and the account too) because we didn’t have the motivation to do so. But we are back with an update for this theme, version 2.0.0 is right now in review. You’ll be able to download it freely, and get it like it’s a new theme. It’s focusing on Magazine and blog, we don’t want to overload it. Let us know what you think!

Cannot get Visual Composer to work/ update. I have installed the plugins through the theme, manually, I have even tried reinstalling the theme. I cannot get around the need to activate the plugin with a licence code. I have tried the code provided in the support section, my Envato User name, and the user name “kimonothemes”. I receive the same error message everytime: Invalid data. Check your information or open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com.

  11. Hi, I have update the theme, and have problems with the portfolio. When I click the button Portfolio, I see nothing. When I switch between the categories I can see them. This is a known issue, or…? Thnx for help!

  12. Sorry to have let you down with this theme. To tell the truth, we’ve been without motivation to fix all those bugs due to the amount of options. We’ve tried to make it too much flexible, and at the end, code was dirty and not organised.
We are fixing this with version 2.0.0 (it’s right now in the review queue!) but we’ve only focus on Magazine and blog purpose of this theme. We don’t want to overcharged this theme with too much features as before. We hope you’ll get a change a try it again.
I know it can be frustrating to buy a theme and see that is not working out of the box as it should do. But today it’s kinda you get a free template to try out
You feedback will be more than welcome! Sorry and thank you for your patience.

  13. Sorry, but although your update of the Impala Theme in version 2.0 does not make it look up to date. What do you think is the big top layer for? Have you ever viewed your impala theme on a high resolution iMac Retina with 27’‘inch?

We are looking forward to some cool features in this theme. And in addition our visual composer is not even working any more after we updated to version 2.0. We even can not renew our visual composer licence…

  14. The visual composer 5.xx is included in the zip… You’ll need to install it manually, there is no way to do this automatically as far as I know.

And no, I don’t have a high resolution iMac Retina with 27inch, sorry about that.

    Thank you for the rating.

  15. Thanks for the quick reply. The question than is why you do not than promote the hints for the installation of the visual composer that easy that all theme users do have direct access to it…
