    Hi,


    I am having problems with the smooth scroll feature from the revolution slider.
    the scroll arrow points to the right , like so > where as in the demo on themeforest
    points down. Can you please help me remedy this problem. I one additional question, am I able to add a logo on top of the revolution slider ?

    Hi,


    The first slide arrow of the demo slider points right and leads to the next slide. The second slide (video slide) arrow points down.


    So possibly you are just looking at the wrong slide? Anyway, you can add your arrow and any other icon easily, also you can rotate existing arrow by selecting it and holding curved arrow icon.

    With the last few patches, Visual composer is not saving background image and information, or button colors, and many things, I don’t know if it’s an issue with Visual composer or with the theme integration that is missing something, or if there is a change in the any folder permission require.

    Yes,
    I also notice than if I manage to get the bg setup (usually 5-10 trials), then if I decide to edit the row again, let says the margin or any tabs that are not the background tab, it will reset the background information to nothing.


    Button BG colors and settings, are just not working at all.


    Sometimes (very rarely) the save button for the custom text does not work the first time the edit is open, I need to close it and open it again.


    Wordpress 4.6.1 and the latest craftman plugin. All plugins up to date.
    PHP 5.6 / MySQL 5.5


    Working on Chrome 54.0.2840.99 m (64-bit) (Windows 10 64bits)

    There are currently no known issues in Visual Composer like the one described above. I just tested and everything works as expected here.


    The information you enter in Visual Composer is then added to the shortcode. You may want to switch to classic text editor mode and see if changes you make are reflected in the shortcode.
    Try disabling third party plugins, possibly one of them is causing a JS conflict with VC.

    Hi, this has mostly to do with contact form 7. I have attached a screen shot of the the questions on the contact form. When the customer answers the questions If possible, I would like answers to these questions to be in the email that is sent from contact form 7. I hope this describes the problem more.

    To import demo slider, install Slider Revolution plugin and then use iImport sllider button and browse slider demo file in Demo Content folder inside main files download package. Please see Slider Revolution section in user guide for steps.


    Or you can create a new video slider:

    Content is added as slider layers too.


    Once slider is created you add it to the page using shortcode or Slider Revolution element in visual composer.

    You have imported original demos, not our demo grid.


    Please read our previous reply once again: “Craftsman demo grid is located in Demo Content/Grid Demos folder”. Use the import button, choose the file and import it (do not import original plugin demos this time)

    This is because your image is added as an menu item, and main menu is replaced by mobile menu toggle in responsive view.


    It is better to add it directly in header.php file, somewhere after or before <a href="#mobile-site-navigation" class="toggle-mobile-menu"><i class="fa fa-bars" /></a>

    If you do not set any cover mode for the image, it will display the original image. Maybe you have some plugin that optimizes your images on the upload?

    Thanks for the fast reply. I do not have any other plugin enabled than your recommend plugins. Any image I insert as a title are background is zoomed in.
    For example I have 2000×1500 image which is zoomed in to a little part (equal of 200×150 appr.)
    On your demo page it does the same. Your image (with the tools) is cropped and zoomed in.

    Settings are fine, it just seems that your image is much larger than your screen, this is why you see only part of it.


    Please enter cover in backround-size field and it will be adjusted. More available properties: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_background-size.asp

    I see. The css needed depends on what layout you are using, because margins and also width of the elements would need to be adjusted.

    If there are four columns, please paste this to custom css field in theme options and adjust as needed:

    The exact message is


    Cannot load tgmpa-install-plugins.


    I haven’t tried to delete the plugin first and then re-install it because I just use the Envato plugin to update the theme and the plugins.


    I couldn’t find much on Google about this problem. Only a few other themes on Envato that also seem to have the same problem but no solutions.

    I’ve never experienced such error message, also as you said google search of this issue leads to the conclusion that this is related to server settings. Does the same happen when you try to install other plugins via TGM?


    Just for information, manual installation of plugins will have the same results as update from dashboard.

    I figured out what the problem was. I also have Buddyforms installed which also uses the TGMP installer. It seems these two clash. When I disable all the Buddyforms plugins, the automatic update runs fine.

    Visual Composer won’t update. i keep getting.. “An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?”. I;ve tried several times. I have envato toolkit installed for updating theme. I even tired by installing the theme files directly to server. no luck.


    I’m on version 5.1 (wordpress 4.8)

    Hi,


    To update Visual Composer to latest version, please update theme first and then go to Appearance/Install Plugins and update it – as described in documentation.


    If you still get this message, disable the plugin and then run the update.


    Additionally, you can always perform manual update by deleting old version and installing new one from your dashboard. All plugin files are located in craftsman/inc/plugins/ folder. Result is the same as with auto updates.
