If my logo is slightly larger than your current accent one,
Will the search bar and log in details still centre in the top header? or will it sit closer to the top?
Could you use a slightly longer logo without it affecting the search bar?

Hi, Yes depending on the width logo height should be change. If you upload the larger logo then automatically header height should be increase.

If you clicked on a category on the top navigation bar, is it possible for it to open to a page showing you the options for sub categories as images or (pictures with something saying priced from £££ underneath) without it just taking you to a list of actual products that include all the items in the category?
So if in the top menu. I had BATHROOMS. when people click on BATHROOMS. it will take me to a page with pictures they can click on of the sub categories saying > Baths, Toilets, Showers etc.
or will it just list all the images from inside this category and have a category list on the side?

Hi, This type of feature is not included in the theme. This is something that can be customize with extra customization cost.

Hi, In admin panel System > Configuration > Catalog > Frontend. Here you can manage the products in category grid pages. Can you please elaborate second question?

ReplyDeleteI’m creating a Magento website for one of my customers, I’d like to know if it’s possible to get a theme in demo version (I’d like to test admin panel) or if it possible to purchase it and, if it won’t be what she is looking for, get a refund.
My customer really loves Accent theme but she asked me to remove most of the animations (eg: mouse over a product will change the image and other animations).

ReplyDeleteI am not a technical person. I am planning to sale my research reports and monthly ebooks [ PDF] online. I am looking for a website which can fulfill the following and much more if possible.
1: Excellent Categories, Sub categories for example: Galaxy, Earth, Region, Country, Province, City, Street. Of course it will not be that much deeper but still just to give you an idea.
2: Visitors can read the product description and also related products underneath.
3: Header layouts, Landing pages layouts
4: An excellent blog template, and multiple layouts if possible.
5: Customer Singup and account management
6: Ticket system if possible.
7: Visitors can buy one item or can subscribe to view multiple items per month.
8: Shopping cart and wishlist,
Any thing which can add more value. Like walk me throug etc…
Can you please suggest me which of your theme can fulfill these requirements at maximum?

ReplyDeleteWhile I think this is a beautiful theme, it has a lot of issues—especially when scaling down the screen width. Items overlap other items, some things disappear but the space they take remains, spacing is often uneven, and so on. I’ve spent at least 20-30 hours so far fixing problems, and I still have a long way to go.
ReplyDeleteAs for tech support by the developers, don’t count on it. I’ve sent them two emails and never received a response back.
For $89, this theme is a good starting point. But if you’re a bit of a perfectionist, go into it with the understanding that you may have to fix a lot of issues and not get much help from the source.
