Nope. Fresh install. Not a single plugin that is third party.

I know this is proverbial response (blame a third party plugin) but what happens when yours is the only theme installed. Can’t blame plugins that aren’t there.
If it will turn out to be theme issue it will be fixed asap. Please post this in the support forum so that the responsible developer can take a look at it.

2. On the Business Listing Page, is there options to put the businesses’ Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. Social Media page links?
3. What would be the total cost of the premium add-ons you used on the Demo. One time fee? Monthly Fees?
4. Does the theme support or have been tested with Woocommerce plugins?
5. When a user creates an account and lists a business, is there a way they can log-in and see data about theie business such as how many site visitors viewed their listing, site visitor purchases done through their listing etc?
6. Can this theme be used to sell products and service? For example, a Dog Groomer listing is clicked on and a user buys a grooming package from the directory site then gets an email with receipt to bring in to the dog-groomer store for proof of purchase.
7. Do users who submit a listing have full control of what is seen on the listing? For example ( Images, URLs, contact information etc..).
8. Are there sections for ad space on the theme?
9. Are we able to make a percentage of the money when a site user books a service or buys a product?
10. Can the “Add Property” button text be changed to something like “Add Listing” ?

Re 2: Sure, you can put such links or buttons in a single listing page.
Re 3: On theme demo website we are using these add-ons: MultiLocations, Prices and Payments, Marker Cluster, Claim Listings. You can find them here https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/category/addons/ You can either but then with a single payment or as a part of membership with a monthly fee.
Re 4: No
Re 5: They can login and see their posted listings from dashboard http://cohhe.com/demo/sky/sky-vacation/blog/author/cohhe/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place they can delete or edit their listings but they can’t see any statistics.
Re 6: that would require some kind of eCommerce plugin like WooCommerce. We haven’t tested it with WooCommerce or similar plugins and it would require some styling to be done so that it matches theme design.
Re 7: Yes
Re 8: We haven’t integrated ad spaces. You would have to choose yourself where to put them.
Re 9: That would require an eCommerce plugin but we haven’t tested Sky with any.
Re 10: Yes

hi I love your theme but I have few questions. So, my business is a free service directory for people, allowing them to find “a service” based on the price of it (price range), The service type (name of service), the customer gender (male female, kids) and the geo location (location). It is also a place for service providers (businesses) to create listing of their services. 1- Do you think your theme can help me achieve that and add/modify the ? 2- do you think I can have the search bar customized to reflect the search options I just cited? (I have specific sketches and can hire your team to work on that) 4- can business owner or service provider register / login and create listing? The free listing option will disappear after a period of time, so 5- will adminS be able to implement the new automated and recurrent fees to be paid or have a system in place to collect a fixed amount of the money when a site user books a service through the website? 6. Do admin and users who submit a listing have full control of what is seen on the user listing? For example ( Images, URLs, contact information etc..) 7- can admin have access and manage the customers account? 8- can admin approve listing before they’re listed? 9- after visiting the service (listing) page, can people book their next visit to the service place? or have a call to action button allowing them to contact the service place directly?

ReplyDeleteRe 1: If you want to use the directory feature of Sky theme then yes. But it is not required if you don’t need these features.
Re 2: It would be possible but then you would lose a lot of features and it would essentially then be just a blog.

The last info regarding commissions is over a year ago. has anything changed? Do you have any better options for charging commissions? ReplyDeleteWhen you create a package you can specify for what period of time is it supposed. You can use daily, weekly or monthly intervals as well as any other. To accept the payments you will need this add-on “Pricing manager” https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/pricing-manager/ it’s not included with the Sky theme so you will have to purchase it separately.
