    Hi Chris!


    I just instaled the Share theme, but i want to change 2 things, and i want to know that is possible within the editor.


    1.- Can i disable the dark opacity in the header? So the image i upload looks in the original way.


    2.- Can i change the black banner behind the logo that appears when i scrolled down? My client want that looks like the branding.

    1. You could use some Custom CSS such as this to disable it:



    #ht-hero-header:before {
    background: transparent;
    }


    2. You would need to modify this using CSS as there are no built-in options to change this.

    Thank you very much Chris!


    I tried the code you gave me and it works, but it disable the header animation, and it doesn’t show anymore. In the moment, i thought it was ok, and that i could put a header inside the image for replace the black header, but when i view a post or a page insde my site, the black header is working in there.


    So, how can i fix that?


    Can you give me another code like the one for the transparent background? So i can change that color in the custom CSS.

    Hi, i noticed one error, when a tweet is added as a post, if it has an image, the tweet gets cut off on the blog page and the title cant be seen so its impossible to go into the post.

    Hi,
    I have a few pre-purchase questions: 1. In Social media share I couldn ot see twitter share in the blog posts in demo, there were only linkedin, facebook and google+, so is there a twitter share button as well? 2. I could not see any search button or field for searching blog posts in the blog on the demo site, so is there any provision for adding search to the menu or sidebar or top bar etc in the theme?
    Btw nice looking theme. Great work, do let us know asap so that we can purchase.

    1. Yes, Twitter share is available. We have 4 sharing option: Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn


    2. This theme doesn’t have an provision for searching in the main header menu, however you could use the default WordPress search widget in the sidebar.

    Thanks a lot for your response. A few more questions:
    1. Is it possible to have a sidebar in this theme? is there a demo page with sidebar to get an idea?
    2. Also instead of pagination as shown in the demo at the end of the pages, can we have an endless/ infinite scroll.
    3. Can we upload a self-hosted audio instead of soundcloud?
    4. Can we have a widgetized footer?
    5. How can we show related posts of recommended content at the end of each post?
    6. How can we add subscribe option on the front page without sidebar?
    7. How do we add our social media buttons/links on the top menu?


    Please help with these questions. We really love your theme and would like to purchase asap. Just not bale to find answers to these in comments, description or demo.

    1. It’s possible to add a sidebar to articles, you can see an example on the demo here: http://demo.herothemes.com/share/a-day-at-the-fairground/


    3. Yes, the theme supports self hosted audio as well as 3rd party services.


    4. Yes, the theme supports a 3 column widgetized footer.


    2/5/6/7. These aren’t possible with the theme out of the box. You’d need to customize or extend the theme to achieve these.

    1. You can find the style.css file in /share/css/style.css


    If you’re looking at making extensive changes, using a child theme is your best bet.
