ReplyDeleteWe appreciate your feedback, however we have stated before that this item is primarily an HTML template.
In addition, we offer the angular version for free (as a bonus) along the HTML item, merely as a starting point for integrating our design with angularJS. You can choose to use it or not.
Just something to consider if you will. We have spent quite some time on research and user interface design for creating this item. With all these considerations in mind, we think it’s too extreme to say “it’s a waste of money” just because the angular version of this item (again, a bonus) doesn’t fit your needs.

ReplyDeleteWe appreciate your feedback. However, please keep in mind the angular version is offered as a free bonus in addition to the main HTML template and is merely a starting point for implementing our design with angularJS. You can choose to use it or not.
Also, consider that no one on the market is offering a full data driven, start to finish view-model item and the majority of items you will find right now will be jQuery pass through based with some really small exceptions.
With that said, we completely understand your point of view, and we’re definitely planning to release more sophisticated data driven (view-model) items in the future.

That way, we could actually be able to improve based on your details if necessary.
Also, please consider this item is primarily an HTML template, and the angular version is provided as a free addition to the main item, merely as a starting point to integrating our design with angularJS and it is definitely not a fully data driven angular module.
As for passing through jQuery, you basically described almost every angular item on the market. No one is offering a full view-model concept start to finish. It is unfortunately a trend for most of the authors here and we have already decided to go against this by planning to release more advanced, true data driven view-model items in the future.

This cannot really be considered as an angular template, angular is being used in the template but all been through jquery. If possible please try to make it pure angular, i mean having jquery components is ok.. otherwise its going to be a waste of money..

ReplyDeleteThis item is primarily an HTML template and offers a solid user interface for a real estate website. With that in mind, we think it’s way too extreme to say “it’s a waste of money”. Hard work, research and great attention to details have been dedicated to creating this item.
While it’s true the angular version does not offer a fully data driven implementation ready to use, it is providing a solid base for integrating our design with angular.
Also, please consider the nature of the angular version, as we already stated it is an extra addition offered (basically for free) along with the primary HTML item.
You can choose to use it as is, use it as a starting point, use only what you need, or don’t use it at all.
However, with that said we completely understand your point of view and we are planning to start releasing more advanced, data driven, view-model items in the near future.

ReplyDeleteWe are using this template and have encountered many issues regarding angular compatibility. We are receiving errors – for example (but not limited to) – “cannot read property “prototype” of undefined” and “this.val is not a function”.
Any suggestions on what is the best way to deal with angular issues on this template?

OK, for the first error, please click on the app.js:3488 link in the console and make a screenshot for that as well.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you posted on the wrong item page (this is Real Estate not Learning).
To fix the 2nd error (this.val), open js/app/app.js, find the definition for $.fn.tkFormControlMaterial and replace it with the following https://gist.github.com/lazabogdan/94dff42e6ab8bcb47aa3 that should fix it

ReplyDeleteNew comers, look carefully into the comments! Don’t buy it if you want to use its AngularJS backbone. It’s nearly useless. Many purchased customers asked to get refund, and the authors did not offer a satisfactory explanation.

Hi, I bought the “ThemeKit – Bootstrap Admin Theme Kit”. When opened the index.html and try to open Angular version of Real State it redirect to this template. So I bought it. After a walkthrough inside code I notice this is not an Angular template, just a wrapper and I must program all code from scratch. How to claim refund ?
ReplyDeleteI’m buyer of this theme. It looks amazing the first time, however, like most of people, I did not read the feedback carefully before making my decision.
ReplyDeleteThe code contains a bundled script to work at the first time, any customization would requires you to build it, and you are going to the hell with a ton of knowledge that you may not know and it is still a puzzle.
Anytime, I have spend hard time to understand the code workflow and do the customizations, so I want to share to someone the summary if you get the same situation like me.
You have to know about gulp/grunt, bower, node and Browserify to get through this theme.
