ReplyDeleteThe theme Parichiti was designed and developed keeping in mind the different post types, features and limitations of a particular platform (Tumblr). In order for it to be used in a different context the theme has to be developed as a separate project. To transpose it as is, is simply not possible.

Hello, in the demo is the ‘identity’ supposed to reflect where one can have an ‘about’? Is it possible to add an email link together with the social media icons? and finally, does the website name have to include tumblr? Thank you
ReplyDeleteHello, your queries for the most part are concerned with the platform rather than the theme itself. This is a theme for Tumblr, and it would be helpful if you better acquaint yourself with the platform to see if it suits your purpose. However, I have replied to your queries below.
ReplyDeleteTumblr supports custom pages so you can easily create an ‘About’ page. Tumblr also supports custom url, therefore, if you choose to use a custom domain name that would be possible too. As for description, you will need to test it for yourself. Sharing via mail is unsupported.

ReplyDeleteNo, it cannot be increased from what it already is. A zoom feature is added with the theme to help one view an image at a larger size if one wishes it.

Hello, still debating whether this cool theme is suitable for my project: 1) can zoom be made any bigger than what you currently have for the images, 2) how long can an item description be + can there be more slides with text?

No, zoom cannot be made any bigger than it already is. Also more slides with text per post is not possible. With regards to the length of item description there is no upper limit as such but it is meant for short and snappy descriptions.

Hi There! I love your theme! It fits my portfolio style and it’s super minimal! As I’m a visual media artist, I have several categories like identity, photography, illustrations and etc. May I know how can I consolidate like for example 5 projects into each categories? So far I only place one project into one categories, unlike how you had presented in your sample whereby you placed 2/3 projects into your identity category. Hope to hear from your soon! Thanks!
