ReplyDeleteI have the B&B template. We already have a booking system so won’t use the booking option nor post/blog. We just liked the layout of the site.
Will create a home page, Rooms page with links to our booking system, an activities page to local things to do and a contact us page with google map etc.
Just a few questions on top of my prevous request for a help guide.
Can we take out the background swirly pattern? change it perhaps to image of local scenery?
how do i change the size of the top image’s? background image seems to be very small and can;t see where to increase site. Found option to move it but not resize.
Also on the theme demo you had two images and the logo. Can’t see where to set this up in template

Hello, as I answered above, you will need to read Help file to set up the theme in order to get it look identically to demo.

2) any size works, the point is to keep 3 top images in same proportion
3) actually there is no background image (I used tiled pattern rather than fullwidth photograph or anything like this). If you ask about top image on home page, it depends on you which size to choose. Mine is 1920px wide. Same for photograph at the very bottom of each inner page.

It looks like the room pages is the same thing as a post?
ReplyDeleteHow do I add amenites to rooms I have made. Have added an image and text, there is a + sign on the corner of each room type and this is where I want to add the amenities.
Can I remove the clock? it seems a little lost amongst my images
Can I add text/description to the home page? I have a main image then another image with logo etc then posts. I am using these posts to display recent reviews. I can’t find where I can add text/introduction to the B&B in between the main image and the posts on the bottom

ReplyDeleteno, rooms and posts are different things (CPT Rooms/default post). Follow Help file to set up CPT and arrange it.

My site has been compromised twice since using this template. I admit i have not downloaded the latest template file for this theme. my issues have been that emails have been sent out via injections. was this theme susceptible to this? will the latest version put a stop to this? none of my other sites have had issues. only this theme is giving me some trouble. I have to now delete everything and start again. When i do i will be using the latest theme as this is my clients wish.

What do you mean please, “not usable”? It is demo website to show how website might look after installing and setting up the theme.

1) the color of the gray background.
2) customizing fields in the contact form in boking.

What do you mean “customizing fields”? Other inputs? Not Dates, Name etc, anything else?
Date you (rather a client who fills in reservation form) insert manually, in empty input or you mean anything else?
