PORTFOLIO MASONRY REGULAR LAYOUT option can be used with blog posts?
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately not by default, but could be done with code modification.
Cheers
Ok, I understand that it is possible.
ReplyDeleteBut I have to do alone or you help me?
If I want the template.
Hey,
ReplyDeleteAs this this is a customisation it will be handled separately from the free support. We have a flat hourly rate for such tasks. It shall will be a quick modification. For more information regarding the price please contact us privately using our mail form in our profile. In any case we are available to help out either by implementing it for you or by pointing you into the right direction if yo decide to do it yourself.
Cheers
Hello, I love your theme – but it does not seem to support Wordpress’ “read more” object in posts?
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteFor support requests, please use our dedicated support forum. All support requests are handled through the forum only.
Please open a new topic under Kopy WP forum and we will make sure that our support team gets back to you asap.

Hi
ReplyDeleteFew question about the template:
1. Is is possible to change visual design of single tile on homescreen grid? (i would like to for example have custom photo, different typography size and aligment) (is is supported by Visual Composer?)
2. Is there option to LOAD MORE or SHOW OLDER POST if specific number of post will be on home screen?
3. Option to add author avatar & link to the post /article? (i saw in some templates you can add it through Visual Composer)
Thanks for answers in advance
Cheers
Luke
Hi Luke,
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late reply, but we were off yesterday.
1. The tiles on the hopepage are your latest posts. They are dynamically pulled so updating the layout is only via custom CSS. Visual Composer is used on regular pages.
2. We have a pagination implemented instead.
3. The content is absolutely free, so yes you can. You can even use any available plugin to display Author Info.
We’re sure you’ll love working with the Theme. Hope this answered your questions and we are looking forward to having you onboard.
Cheers
Hi I just registered for the support forum with my purchased code. However, after receiving the email for you guys, the link direct me to an error page, instead of the support page. Worse, I can’t even get into the support page.
ReplyDeleteHi yinbogao,
ReplyDeleteThe support link is:
http://support.ishyoboy.com/
We see you successfully registered and changed your password. Are you using your username to register? Not your e-mail.
Please contact us using the e-mail provided in the documentation file to move the communication privately. What error do you get when you try to log-in?
Cheers
Yeap, sorry that was a temporary glitch I think. It worked ten minutes later.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the quick response, your template is awesome and 5 stars from me!
You’re welcome, we’re glad everything is ok
ReplyDeleteJust a note to say support on this theme is first class! Purchased and had a few tweaks to make, author has been spot on with replies every time.
ReplyDeleteAfter having purchased dozens of themes over the years, I can say support here is the best I’ve seen so far. Highly recomended.
Many thanks pal! We really appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteI like that the homepage of Kopy WP blog has images that zoom a bit when you mouse over them. But is there a way to slow the zoom down a bit? Like on PotterMore… https://www.pottermore.com/explore-the-story
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteyes of course it’s possible. It requires just 2 lines of CSS code.
For support requests, please use our dedicated support forum. The comments section is not the place for technical info. All support requests are handled through the forum only.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
ReplyDeleteit says compatible with WooCommerce, but I don’t see any shop examples in the live preview. Does the theme provide any custom styles for a shop?
Thanks
Hey,
ReplyDeleteSince it was meant mainly for blogging theme we decided not to make demo, but the theme is 100% compatible with Woocommerce.
The styling of Woocommerce will however look very similar to this shop – http://themes.ishyoboy.com/multicorp/shop/
It will use Kopy’s colors, header and tagline styling. The woocommerce is mainly about the content and how product info is displayed. The surrounding (main page structure) will be as you see it now in Kopy.
Hope this answers your question.
Cheers
Thanks for the reply!
ReplyDeleteSure thing! Feel free to contact us in case you have any further questions or if you need help with the theme. Cheers
ReplyDeletehello to all your team!
ReplyDeletefrom the demo view i see that, in home page, photography-box-sections are composed by blog posts.
Can I compose photography-box-sections with other pages(menu items), like, for example, about use, contacts etc?
thank you
Valeria
Hi Valeria,
ReplyDeleteThe home layout is specific to Blog Posts only. Without code modification this won’t be possible. But using the existing template and modifying it to fit your idea shouldn’t be a problem. However this involves some knowledge about how HTML and PHP and WordPress work.
Hope this is not a show stopper for you as the theme provides really amazing features and working with it is extremely easy.
Cheers
Is this Kopy theme compatible with NEXTgen gallery? Seems like Filmstrip is not working properly. https://www.imagely.com/wordpress-gallery-plugin/nextgen-plus/
ReplyDeletewhichever mode I use, it seems that ‘slideshow’ function is not working properly

Could you please open a new topic under Kopy Theme Forum and also provide your URL. We had no problems with NEXTgen gallery so far.

Hi, I’m looking at purchasing this theme and have a couple of questions:
ReplyDelete1. Is it possible on the homepage to have a video background full width across the page, for example where the Featured Post is on the demo. Is this only available on pages rather than blog pages?
2. Is there a coming soon page?
Thanks! The theme looks great.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteVery happy to see you like the theme! You will love it Trust us
1. To achieve this you would have to manually change it inside the PHP template.
2. No, but there are already many “Coming Soon” plugins, so we saw no reason to have it inside the theme.
Hope these are not show stoppers
Cheer
Thanks so much for the quick reply, I don’t think those are show stoppers at all
ReplyDeleteVery glad to hear that
ReplyDeleteHello, nice theme! I’m looking for a community type sharing template where members can write, post and share their blogs, photos and other resources. So does Kopy allow anyone who registers to write a blog? Photo? Upload files? And if so, can it be done as a Membership? Example: Users who want to share photos, write blog, upload file pay a monthly or annual membership fee?
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteSorry for the ling reply time.
1. So does Kopy allow anyone who registers to write a blog? Photo? Upload files?
Yes, if they register with author rights then they will have access to writing posts. Maybe you will have to use a plugin to make the process much smoother.
2. And if so, can it be done as a Membership?
Bothe these can be handled via membership plugins. This functionality is usually a plugin territory. So have a look what plugins are available for this task.
Cheers
Ahoj,
ReplyDeleteProsim Ta aky je rozdiel medzi sablonami Kopy WP a Tayp WP okrem ceny?
Hi Spyros,
ReplyDeletejust for the future please write your messages in English so everybody can benefit from it
The both themes Kopy and Tayp are based on the same framework, means that they are really similar regarding theme options, settings, etc. There could be small differences but in general they are very similar. It’s simply just matter of design, which one you like more
Cheers
Hi there, great theme! I have one issue though. When I load a Google map through VC it doesnt display. It gives an error and tells me to see the console.
ReplyDeleteThe console throws:
Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error
http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?v=3.exp&sensor=false&callback=initialize&ver=4.6.1

Please create a new topic under KOPY Forum and we will have a look.

Done, thnx!
ReplyDeletePerfect. You have an answer
ReplyDeleteChange Sub Menu (Main Menu) Style? I’d rather not have the “pop out” second tier sub nav. Is there a way to disable that and use a stacked / indented (simpler) style for the Sub Menus? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately this can be done only with custom modification. The theme provides no such option.
Cheers
Hey, is there a option to remove the “Related Stories” widget at the bottom of a blog post (with the same category)?
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Hey,
ReplyDeleteThere is no such option but this can easily be done with few modifications:

Presales question: The top post – currently “Peaks of your life” on the demo – can this be static content and everything else below it updates as is posted, or is this just another post that will eventually change when something new is posted?
ReplyDeleteCurrently it’s the first (the most recent) post. But very probably with a bit of code changes it could be achieved
ReplyDeleteCheers
Hi! Is it possible to have the homepage full-width layout for blog category pages as well?
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteyes it’s very easy to achieve with Theme Options. Full-width, 2 columns, 3 columns, ...
Hope it helps and looking forward to see you soon in our small family
Cheers
